The mission of our team is to culture, purify and identify pathogens from food-producing animals and slaughterhouses. In recent years we carried out the national surveillance program of antimicrobial resistance to trace the food-borne pathogens such as Salmonella enterica and Escherichia coli. We also maintain the microorganism bank of ATRI.
